Please keep in mind that landscape lighting requires more than just the lighting fixtures. Landscape lighting systems also require cable and a transformer, which provides power. Some points to remember:

  • Total wattage and number of fixtures determine what power of transformer you will need. You can find transformers on our Landscape Lighting Accessories tab. Also see our Landscape Lighting Tips article for more information.
  • If you are having a professional landscape contractor or electrician install your lighting, ask if they provide transformers and cable or if you'll need to purchase these along with your fixtures.
