1. Once you have selected your landscape lights, be sure to purchase any necessary transformers and cables to complete your system.
2. Some landscape lighting transformers feature built-in timers that switch lights on and off automatically. We offer automatic timers separately as well.
3. When determining how much wattage you need in a transformer, add up the wattage of each lamp in your system. Make sure your transformer wattage is greater than this sum.
4. If possible, give yourself some leeway between transformer wattage and total lamp wattage. We recommend that your transformer's wattage is around 50 watts greater.
5. Landscape lighting cable is available in a variety of lengths and gauges. Map your design carefully to be sure you have enough cable to complete your system.
