After Only One Year, They're All Dead

Pros

  • Attractive Design

Cons

  • Cannot repair
  • Not weather resistant
  • Rusts Quickly

Best Uses

  • Front Yard
  • Gardens
  • Walkway

We redid our lawn and gardens, both front and back, in September 2010 and felt that these solar lights would add the finishing touch to our front yard. In less than one year, they are corroded, rusted, and quit working. My husband, a capable weekend handy-man, has been unable to repair these. Way too much money for something that only lasted a year. We combined these with CCD575, and all are inoperable.

Average [*]

Pros

  • Adequate Power

Cons

  • Poor Construction

Best Uses

  • Garden

I bought 7 of these lights. I was able to install 6, one broke in half as I inserted the bottom part into the ground. [*] Mass production, little durability - all plastic foundation. In fact I know this product won't last more than a year or two, as I look at several of my neighbors that have made similar purchases.
