The Motion-Activated 14 LED Security Floodlight is perfect for porches, doorways, or around the house. It has no operating costs and no electrician is needed for installation. The light automatically turns on when motion is detected at night. An adjustable PIR sensor detects motion within 180 degrees and up to 35 feet away. Fourteen bright LEDs and a silver reflector create bright illumination in the coverage area. Illumination duration can be set from 10 seconds to 4 minutes. This security light also features motion sensitivity, and LUX (daylight sensitivity) adjustments. When charged in full sunlight, the light can activate up to 180 times when illuminated for 60 seconds at a time. A 9-foot cable allows ideal solar panel placement or indoor installation if desired.

I bought two and was given a refund on the first because the motion detector got water logged. I think that if it works this is a useful product. But I am not sure how well it works yet. The light is plenty bright when it goes on. I think the motion detector isn't very responsive and it became waterlogged.

I use this product near one of my pool entry-ways this has made it much safer and I saved money because I did the install myself in less than 1/2 hr.

Installed 2 lights in my front yard fence where
it was inpractable to wire. The lights were
mounted on "T's" with both the lights and solar panels attached to 10 foot PVC pipes buried in the ground. The work very well, but it is difficult to adjust the time, sensitivity and LUX settings, thank goodness though they can be set!
The lights are good for security, they are bright and look really strange as from outer speae when strangers walk by...

Bought this light for the stairway to my screen porch (2nd floor). The illumination is excellent - the only problem I had was trying to position the motion sensor to bring the light on from the top and bottom of the stairs - ended up using the light elsewhere and purchasing different lights from SolarLightStore for my stairs - which, by the way, are also great!
Best thing about this light is the brightness and area of illumination - you won't be disappointed!
