The Motion-Activated 80 LED Security Floodlight is perfect for walkways, driveways, garages, and sheds. It has no operating costs, and no electrician is needed for installation. The light automatically turns on when motion is detected at night. An adjustable PIR sensor detects motion within 180 degrees and up to 35 feet away. Eighty bright LEDs and a silver reflector create bright illumination in the coverage area. Illumination duration can be set from 10 seconds to 1 minute. This security light also features motion sensitivity, and LUX (daylight sensitivity) adjustments. When charged in full sunlight, the light can activate up to 360 times when illuminated for 60-second intervals. A 15-foot cable allows ideal solar panel placement or indoor installation if desired.

It was very easy to install. Considering it's a solar light, I wasn't expecting the light to be very bright but I was pleased to see a very bright light over a wide area. The length of time the light is on, the level of darkness before the light comes on and the amount of movement needed to switch the light on are all adjustable. The unit and solar panel are a little bigger than I expected but overall, I'm very happy with this light.

We live in a totally solar-powered home. Need reliable solar-powered security lights. This one appeared to be suitable for the task. However, first one was received "broken". After getting a replacement fixture, it was installed, but it NEVER WORKED!!! I would LOVE to have a good solar light to illuminate deck and steps, but unless I can get yet another replacement that WORKS, it won't be the Maxsa 80 LED light. Seemed like a great option. Too bad it didn't work at all!!!

I purchased this light on May 7th, it took two weeks to get to me which was fine, because I was in the process of buying a new home, well I moved into my new home and put the light outside on June 9th, today is June 14th when I left home this morning I realized my [$] light is no longer working! And due to how long I've had it no matter thats its been in a box until I moved- I can't return.. Now thats just lovely.

Bought this product to install in a backyard storage shed. It worked great, with more than ample illumination. Installed quickly and easily and looks nice. My only question is what is the life expectancy of the battery and solar panel.
