This light is used to light up the basement steps when someone comes in the basement at night and the light comes on when needed and gives plenty of light for the person to see to unlock the door to come in. If you want a lot of light, I recommend this one over the LED lights, which don't give off a lot of light. This halogen light is great for basement steps, walkways, or back steps where you don't have a porch light. If you have an outside garage that has no electric running to it, then this light would be perfect for it.

The light is a disappointment! I bought it, installed it and charged it. The light hasn’t worked well. The light dims in a couple of on off cycles and then doesn’t come on at all. I am hoping that it will improve with additional charging (I moved the solar panel). That might make it work better, but I am not optimistic.
The light was also more expensive than any other solar light I have purchased and I won’t buy another of this model.

I looked online for the brightest solar motion-sensor light. This one works great. I installed it on the corner of my roof facing the front driveway. After waiting for three days for the battery to charge up, I finally turned it on. It is pretty bright, sure beats hard-wiring. The only drawback is that it stays on for only a minute. You can't program it longer.

Used to light mail box areas. When lights worked they were great but they did not work long. Installed in August and starting having problems in December. Maybe they are weather tight but not humidity tight.

All settings are very easy to set and motion sensor works great. I like how you can set the timer for how long the light stays on it really helps to save battery life
